Sir Andrew Motion in the Assembly Rooms in Ludlow!
Poetry on Loan is extraordinarily well served by poets who are famous only in a given circle. But every now and then, we like to bring some better-known poets into the region.
On June 8th, we are delighted to welcome Sir Andrew Motion to Ludlow Assembly Rooms, in a co-production with Shropshire Libraries. Sir Andrew lives in the USA now, and he's rarely int he UK, so make the most of this opportunity to hear readings from his new book, Essex Clay. Sir Andrew is a great poet, and if you haven't heard him read before, you're in for a treat.
