Paul Henry at the Big Apple
Paul Henry, Poet in Residence for Herefordshire, spent a day at the Big Apple, a celebration of Herefordshire's orchards.
Mia Cunningham, who is 14 and lives in Much Wenlock.
Earlier this year, twenty local poets were commissioned to write poems on the theme Home-made. home-grown - to link in with Poetry on Loan’s current focus on local issues.
For the first time, Herefordshire has a Poet in Residence - Paul Henry. The residency has come about through a partnership between Poetry on Loan, Herefordshire Libraries and Ledbury Poetry Festival.
An event on 9th October, as part of the Birmingham Literature Festival, saw the launch of Poetry on Loan’s poetry postcards for 2013, on the theme Home-made, home-grown.
