This time we have another recommendation from Jonathan Davidson, and it's a poet whose work I have never read at all. I'm always pleased when someone recommends a poet that I haven't come across, so I hope that you enoy this one - it's Dennis O'Driscoll.
Dennis O'Driscoll was an Irish poet who died in 2012 at the early age of 58. His poems were dry and mostly anti-romantic. Personally, their ambiguity appeals; there's nothing cut-and-dried about these poems. You can find quite a few on the Internet - try Tomorrow for starters.
