Poetry on Loan is not run by a committee. Our meetings include representatives from the majority of library authorities in the West Midlands region - everyone is involved, from the huge Birmingham Libraries to tiny Telford and Wrekin.
Roles and responsibilities
Some people do have particular roles and responsibilities:
Chair: Amy Capewell

Treasurer: Terry Heath
Staffordshire Libraries. Terry has been involved in Poetry on Loan since 2016.
Co-ordinators: Steve Pottinger and Emma Purshouse
Steve is a poet and performer who has performed the length and breadth of the UK.
Emma is an award winning poet, novelist and performer. She was the first Poet Laureate for the City of Wolverhampton.
Both Emma and Steve are passionate about poetry. They have been in post as PoL co-ordinators since Autumn of 2022.
